About Baluchari Saree
The Baluchari saree is one of the most exquisite sarees in India. Craftsmen of Bishnupur in West Bengal create them. Mostly borders and pallu have mythological themes depicted on them. One saree might even have an entire episode of The Mahabharata or The Ramayana woven in it. Baluchari scarves and stoles often have floral and foliage motifs instead of mythological elements.
