About Kantha Stitch
Kantha embroidery is a very popular embroidery work of West Bengal and Bangladesh. Kantha stitch is generally done on cotton and silk fabrics. Kantha embroidery is running stitches used for making floral motifs, images of birds, animals and geometrical patterns.
